Status Update

Hey all, dunno If you noticed but I've been gone for a while.

Well, My computer is not working for me, and I am trying to figure it out. I don't think it's a video card problem because I uninstalled it and the error still pops up.

It's the 'ole IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL blue screen, and I have no idea how to fix it. I've been reading, and one of the options was uninstall and reinstall the video card to see if the drivers were the problem. I am led to believe it isn't, but it is still possible. Another possible problem could be the mobo or even RAM that could be making a bad connection, or not working at all. I'm having a hard time believing it's the RAM though. Any thoughts on that are appreciated.

I am in need of my computer once again, and any help will be substancial to gaining my computer back. It hasn't worked for about a week and a half.

I also tried to use the restore option in the advanced boot settings/advanced settings. It didn't work, but I'm not sure if that is even related to the problem. I also tried a virus scan and tried to defrag it in attempts to fix it. That didn't work either, and the defrag didnt even pull up.

Please help me out ASAP, I miss you guys and want to play TF2 once again...

I know I would have this pop up because of my sound card and had to pull it out for a while. That was back when I was using the pre-release client of Windows 7 Ultimate.

Since I've re-formatted my computer I have been able to put it back in with no issue though. Have you tried re-formatting yet? What cards do you have in your comptuer, just the video one?

I would suggest you remove all the cards (video/sound/ what ever else you have) from your computer. Then install one card at a time then reboot.

example
install video card
reboot
install sound
reboot
instal xyz
reboot

I remember i had a similar problem along time ago one one of my computers and this is how i fixed it.

Aw tank you Norman!

I think I might have somehow fixed it. I tried the RAM, but I think it was the vid card. I updated the drivers and used a different video card port. Seems to be working atm

Okay, now I really fixed it. It went down after the last post. I just reinstalled vista and we're good
