MIc Problems (again)

So my mic stopped to work randomly. and I tried what DH told me to do last time and it didnt work I dont have a sound card, so thats not the problem.

you did check and see that the mic is not on mute right? (the switch on the cord of the mic)

Uncheck that box that says "Do not prompt when device is plugged in"
Then unplug the mic then plug it back in, and see if it really is:
A) looking at the right jack
B) See's a Mic

i did what you said DH, that fixed the white noise that i was getting, and it does recognize the mic, and its in the right jack.
But still no sound.

is it a usb mic? if not then do you have another jack? it could be either your mic just burnt out or the mic in hole is busted

Grimm we all know you dont use a mic but instead just yell out the window.
