Player putting sticky bombs on enemy spawn

There's a player with screen name "[LKM818] ebo -HFC-" playing as a demo who's put sticky bombs on door of the rival's spawn at least three times that I've observed.

To sum up what they are saying, it's an allowed tactic. If you are having trouble with it there are many ways to deal with spawn camping. Start by being cautious when you open the doors and looking around. If you know someone is spawn camping communicate with your team so they can flank and help check the position periodically. If it's the secondary spawn there are two exits, take the safer one. Changing classes can cause you to change spawn areas as well if you just want to avoid it.

Where did everyone get the idea that spawn camping is bad anyhow? Ditto for default respawn times. Those are the top two TF2 gameplay-related complaints I see. I'm guessing that a majority of players started playing the game on some instaspawn Orange_X map.

Worse yet, when he got caught doing it, he spammed the text chat with accusations that an opposing player was spawn-camping -- an opposing player who wasn't anywhere near his spawn at the time. (The good old "no, you're a towel" tactic.) That's asshattery. And his subsequent tantrum on the forums was asshattery as well.

So, to summarize,

HFC means "Hackers for Christ"... which, if ya didn't know is a radical Christian hacking cult. Last April they hacked the server and it took us DAYS to get it all straightened out.... such grief! I think they attacked us just because this is a Buddhist Server. Stickies don't stick to the door itself so I assume you mean the base of the door. It's allowed. Work with your team to maintain, "bridge control" and you won't have the enemy doing this as much.

I can understand Ebo for spawn camping, its one of the easiest ways to get kills, plus it makes people like you annoyed which is fun for everyone(but you). Maybe if you would listen to team mates who say that there is some1 camping, or if you see some1 who generally like to camp playing on the server, just check the door before you go out.:hippie:

It's hard to tell whether you're oblivious or trolling; in their advanced stages, the two tend to become indistinguishable.

So, to cover all the bases,

If you're eboblivious: All 4 edges of the door in 2fort can be stickied. Stickies adhere to the door/floor and door/wall boundaries.

If you're ebotrolling: It's easy. Just press F10 to dispense the top-secret super-stickies.
